Episode Review
Episode 1 was originally shown at 9pm on 19th October on BBC Three.
"Something more disgusting that sucking a lady's toe"? Take your pick! Vomiting WI ladies, grotesque naked women, breast feeding, spitting on Vanessa Feltz? Surely not! But yes, it is! Little Britain is back and better and more disgusting than ever. If you thought Series 2 could get a little stale, boy were you wrong! A good mix of old and new characters in this first episode bring a good balance of horrible, camp and just downright funny. Little Britain is here to stay.

1. Vicky Pollard - Supermarket
After being thrown out of the supermarket, Vicky Pollard walks back in through the other door, and starts stealing Pic'n'Mix sweets, hiding them in her trousers. A security guard confronts her, and despite Vicky's many explanations, and her claim that he is "racist", she is escorted once more to the exit. She sets off the security alarm, however, and the security guard finds that she has a till hidden in her pram.

2. Emily and Florence - Tea room
Emily and Florence cycle along on their tandem, and decide to stop off at a tea shop. Florence is obviously new to the transvestite business, so Emily advises her "not to draw attention to yourself". Unfortunately, they both do just that, as they enter the tea room saying that they are ladies, and cannot decide who should sit down first. After all, they are both ladies! Eventually, they decide they will order cakes - but only if they are for ladies - and Florence goes to the toilet, but not before Emily reminds her to use the women's toilet, and to "remember to sit down when you piss!".

3. Bubbles De Vere - Seaweed wrap
Bubbles is followed around the health spa by the manager, who wants to know when she is going to pay for her stay. She gives him her husband's phone number - 123 456789 - but this does not satisfy him, and they eventually go up to his office. There, Bubbles decides to resolve the situation, and drops her robe, pressing the manager's face into her rather saggy breasts.
Fanspot: Hill Grange Health Spa. Named after the childrens TV Show Grange Hill. Did you know that all the Stately Homes in Sir Bernard's Stately Homes were named after characters from Grange Hill?
Fanspot 2: Forum member Dan has tracked down the location of Bubbles DeVere's health farm. It's actually owned by an IT company called Xara.

4. Lou and Andy - Price is right
Outside Andy's house, Lou bumps into a friend, but the conversation is killed when Andy sneezes and wipes his hands on her trousers. Inside, Andy finishes his tea, and watches "The Price is Right". From the kitchen, Lou hears "Andy Pipkin, come on down!", and looks momentarily puzzled, but soon realises that he must have misheard. On the TV, however, we see that it is indeed Andy on The Price is Right, as he runs down the stairs to take his place in the game.

5. Judy and Maggie - Jam judging
At a village fete, Judy and Maggie start to judge the homemade jams. Judy seems quite pleased with a plum jam, but, on hearing that it was made by a lady who ran off with a school mistress, promptly throws it back up. The same happens with the raspberry jam, which was made by a woman who married a black man, and the marmalade, made by "Sanjana Patel". Maggie carefully steps over the vomit on the floor, as they move on to the pastries.

7. Marjorie Dawes - Visit from Vanessa Feltz
Marjorie Dawes weighs Pat, who has put on weight. Marjorie advises her to "have a bit of dust" next time she feels peckish, and tells her to "waddle back to your seat". She then introduces a "noo spokesperson", Vanessa Feltz, who has come to talk to the group. Marjorie seems very taken with Vanessa, although she tells her she could still lose another stone, and seems to have her confused with Anthea Turner. Vanessa then invites the group to ask Vanessa questions - Meera asks a question about dieting, but Marjorie doesn't understand, and explains to Vanessa that Meera is Asian. Pat then asks how easy it is for "larger frame" women to get on TV, and despite Marjorie's mocking - "Fat Pat, I call her!" - Vanessa offers Pat a job presenting her new TV show. Marjorie also expresses an interest in this, but Vanessa refuses, as Marjorie is "a complete cow". Marjorie has had enough of Vanessa, and comes up with her own "question" - spitting in Vanessa's face.

9. Carol - £2000 loan
Outside a bank, an old lady picks up some dog poo, and drops it into another old lady's bag. Inside, a Geordie customer asks Carol for a £2000 loan; she types in a few figures, and replies "Computer says no". The customer tries some other questions, such as asking for a smaller loan, and asking to see the manager, but "Computer says no" each time. He then asks if there is anything he can do, and Carol whispers to her computer for a while, before replying...."Computer says no".

8. Harvey Pincher and Jane - Meeting Harvey's parents
Harvey and Jane arrive at Harvey's parents house, and he introduces them to his girlfriend. They begin to get on well, when Harvey complains that he is hungry, and wants "bitty". His Mother initially refuses, saying that "bitty" will spoil his appetite, but eventually gives in. She unbuttons her blouse, and Harvey crawls on her lap and begins breastfeeding. Jane is horrified, but continues talking to Harvey's parents - his mother is surprised that Jane still lives at home. "I think it's important to let go", she explains, as she burps Harvey after his feed.
Special Guest - Geraldine James as Mrs Pincher

9. Mr Man - Dating agency
Mr Man enters Roy's dating agency, and requests a woman with the name of Linda Williams. Not a specific woman, just anyone with the name of Linda Williams (It's not his favourite name, that's Catherine Drew, but at his age, you can't be too picky). Roy can't find any suitable matches, so he calls up to Margaret, who offers a Lindsey Williams and a Linda Willis, but neither of these are any good. Eventually, Margaret suggests that Roy look in the red folder, where - how funny! - there is a woman with the name of Linda Williams. However, Mr Man explains that she has to have a glass eye, and Roy calls up to Margaret once more.
10. Sebastian and Michael - New leader of the opposition
The Prime Minister arrives back at Number 10, where Sebastian has a cup of tea waiting for him. Inside, Michael, Sebastian, and Gregory discuss the forthcoming trip to Bruges, and despite Sebastian's pleas, Michael decides to take Gregory with him. Gregory leave to pack Michael's case, and the Leader of the Opposition soon arrives. Sebastian takes this opportunity to make the Prime Minister jealous, and proceeds to "search" the visitor, before sitting on his lap and offering him chocolate fingers. The Leader of the Opposition soon leaves - but not before Sebastian gives him a goodbye kiss. Michael is shocked at Sebastian's "extraordinary display", but Sebastian is certain that he's just jealous.
Special guest - Nigel Havers as Phillip

11. Judy and Maggie - Fairy cake
Back at the fete, the vicar thanks Judy and Maggie for judging the jams, and offers them a fairy cake each. They enjoy these, until the vicar tells them that they were made by the local homless people, at which point Judy throws up all over the vicar, and then in her cup of tea. She then takes a sip of tea/vomit, to Maggie's disgust.
Special Guest - David Foxxe as the vicar

12. Lou and Andy - Feeding the ducks
Lou and Andy take a stroll in the park, where a group of teenagers taunt them. Andy is eager to "sort them out", but Lou tells him to "rise above it". Lou begins to feed the ducks, but Andy soon climbs out of his wheelchair, and starts to beat the teenagers up, scaring them all away. Andy sits back down, and Lou notices that the teenagers have gone, and congratulates Andy for rising above it.
Over the end credits, Lou pushes Andy back from the duck pond, as Tom Baker reads out a list of people who have to go to bed now.
