29/3/08 - David is about to sign on to join Michael Gambon and David Bradley in a revival of Harold Pinter's 1974 play No Man's Land. Rehearsals will take place in London in July and then No
Man's Land will begin performances at the Gate Theatre in Dublin in August. After that run, it will cross to the West End in the late autumn for a short London season.

21/2/08 - David Walliams is to embark on another demanding swim for charity - crossing the
Strait of Gibraltar. He will join Olympic rowing champion James Cracknell for the 12-mile swim across the busy shipping channel for Sport Relief, to be shown on BBC One on Friday 14th March.
New Heroes of Comedy with David and Matt will be shown on Channel 4 at 9.00pm on 29 Feb (next Friday) Cheers Tanya.
11/2/08 - Channel 4 is making a new documentary series called New Heroes of Comedy with David and Matt featuring in one of the programmes. The documentary will look at the rise of Lucas and Walliams from a chance meeting at the National Youth Theatre to Rock Profiles and Little Britain.

18/12/07 - David is to become a children's author after signing a two-book
deal, according to Chortle. His first book, to be released next autumn, will be a ‘a humorous, classic tale that features an engaging boy hero’. Cheers Martin.
According to Troika, David will be the voice of "Bulgy Bear" in the forthcoming Disney adaptation of Prince Caspian. Cheers Jenn.
16/12/07 - David appears in a 5 page photoshoot for Esquire Magazine (Rufus Wainwright cover, Jan 08). The photoshoot recreates several classic meanswear adverts from seventies, using Savile Row tailored suits.

Matt Lucas will join Celebrity Hijack (Big Brother) next month as the voice of Big Brother. He will use his characters' voices to help order the unsuspecting housemates around, reports the Daily Star today. Cheers Ian and Geraldine.
11/12/07 - David confirmed on the Steve Wright show that he will be playing Frankie Howerd in a BBC film based on the actor’s life. This will be on BBC Four next year.
David and Matt both appeared on Dawn French's Boys Who Do Comedy tonight talking about their childhoods.

19/11/07 - Matt Lucas was on Chris Moyle's radio 1 show this morning to talk about the Little Britain Abroad DVD, which is finally out today. Matt revealed that he has a dog! A labrador called Milo. He also explained that the HBO series has been delayed by the writer's strike in Hollywood. They cannot start to film it until the strike is over. He also exclusively revealed that he'll be played a character of a naughty little girl called Ellie Grace. Cheers Marte from our Forum.

12/11/07 - David was interviewed in The Scotsman about tonight's Capturing Mary, and talks discusses his and Matt's aim to move towards writing more comedy-dramas.
David was on the Culture show last Saturday.
David was also a guest in the X-Factor audience. Dermot popped by to share a special moment with him before the singing continued. David also found time to pick his favourites! “I found Same Difference very moving, it brought a tear to my eye, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing Rhydian”. This will be repeated coming Friday and Saturday. (David comes directly after the break after Hope sings the Amy Winehouse song “Back to Black”.) The Sun reported on what happened with David and Rhydian backstage at the X-Factor.

18/9/07 - Matt Lucas will star in this week's episode of Kath & Kim, to be shown on Channel 7 in Australia this Sunday. Bizarre as it sounds, Lucas plays Karen, the long-lost sister of Magda Szubanski's character Sharon Strezlecki. Here's a picture of Matt in Costume. 7/8/07 - David has a cameo in the new Simon Pegg film "Run Fat Boy Run", out today. He plays a fussy customer of the Bakery where Simon character's ex-girlfriend works. He's very much like Mr Mann in the scene, which is quite Little Britain-y in that it has an old lady saying a rude word.
6/9/07 - David and Matt finally appear as Lou and Andy on Neighbours in the UK on BBC 1 this lunchtime.
29/8/07 - David was very briefly on Russell Brand's radio 2 podcast show on 18th August, if you regularly download it - right at the end of the show. Noel Gallagher was at a party at David's house and Russell telephoned him. Cheers Stefanie.

Snowdon's Richard and Judy show: "David Walliams and Lisa Snowdon are keen to work together as a TV duo again. Heat spoke exclusively to Walliams and Snowdon on the day of their first and so far only stint as TV co-hosts and both admitted they'd love to repeat the experience. David told heat "Oh, if someone was kind enought to ask us to do this again, I'd love to..." while Lisa enthusiastically agreed, explaning, "I think David and I have a great chemistry so we should definitely do more TV together." David admitted that the whole experience was nerve-wracking, especially having to interview the guests live, with producers talking in his ear-piece. "I mean, I don't like listening to people at the best of times," he joked. "But once the show was underway it turned out to be great fun, and I just felt happy and relaxed to be working with Lisa. Sometimes when you're good friends with someone in real life, it doesn't necessarily work on screen, but it felt like we were really good together."
And Matt Lucas' verdict? "An appalling and senseless waste of human life!" Ta, Matt.

13/8/07 - Stardust is now out in the USA. David plays a ghost of one of the King of Stormhold's sons. According to Jenn from our forum, he and his brothers are hanging around until one of them takes the throne, so you get to see him in quite a few scenes. You can see a picture of David here.
